Over the last year, Flood Modeller has introduced Hydrology+, a series of efficiency and automation tools that allow users to undertake full FEH hydrological analysis, digitising workflows and linking to industry standard software.
The latest release of Flood Modeller provides a new way of collaborating to undertake hydrological analysis, with the introduction of a shared hydrological database. While users can still conduct analyses and save results locally, they now have the option to utilise a database shared across their organisation for storing hydrological data (such as FEH Catchment Descriptors) and analyses. This enhancement facilitates easier collaboration across teams and projects.

In version 7.3.1, two installation options have been introduced. The original system remains available, and there is now an option to set up a centralised Hydrology+ database that any team member can connect to. In this new setup, all connected users share access to the same data, including imported catchment descriptors, gauge records, and Hydrology+ projects. Users can still create new projects, add calculation points, and perform ReFH2 and WINFAP analyses to generate hydrographs. Additionally, this allows the whole team to view and contribute to ongoing work.
