Academic Licencing

Students and lecturers can use Flood Modeller (Standard Edition) for educational and research purposes at no cost.
We work closely with universities and colleges, giving them the opportunity to embed Flood Modeller within their curriculum and teach students how to use commercial modelling software. This enables future graduates to gain essential hands-on experience, giving them a head start when beginning their careers.

If you have a fee-earning project and would like to use Flood Modeller, you can benefit from a 50% academic discount.

What is provided with the academic licence?

Each academic licence provides multi-user access, enabling entire classes to use the software at once. It includes full access to the Standard edition of Flood Modeller, which provides integrated catchment modelling capabilities, allowing you to accurately model rivers, sewers, overland flows, and rainfall-runoff.

Our academic licences are provided for a 12-month period and can be renewed on an annual basis by submitting an updated academic licence agreement. We manage the extension remotely, making it quick and easy to update.

Need to model larger catchments or use Flood Modeller for commercial purposes?

Need to model larger catchments or undertake a commercial fee-earning project, then use the Professional or Unlimited editions of Flood Modeller. Select a monthly or annual subscription, and we'll deduct 50% of any applicable fees.

In order to proceed with an academic discounted licence, contact our sales team to request a formal quotation for your preferred configuration.
