Webinar | Direct rainfall modelling using Flood Modeller

Taking place on Wednesday 13th May 2020 at 12:00 BST this free webinar will be delivered by Jacobs’ Adam Parkes. It is particularly useful for anyone involved with urban modelling and natural flood management.

Direct rain on grid modelling is an important element of Flood Modeller’s 2D solvers, allowing users to model a wide range of complex processes directly within Flood Modeller. Potential uses include pluvial flood risk assessment, modelling of natural flood management processes and urban drainage system evaluation.

This webinar will explore the uses of direct rainfall modelling and discuss alternatives, benefits and limitations. It will cover the practicalities of setting up direct rainfall models and introduce how to apply spatially varying infiltration boundaries within Flood Modeller.
