The Standard edition of Flood Modeller was launched earlier this year and is aimed at small to medium sized organisations who require greater functionality than what is provided within the Free edition, but don’t require the full Professional edition of Flood Modeller.
With long-term perpetual licences available from £3,000 GBP / $3,500 USD, it allows users to access more functionality for less!
The Standard edition provides users with access to Flood Modeller’s industry-leading 1D (400 nodes) and 2D (400,000 cells) solvers, a user-friendly interface for building, running and visualising models, as well as a wide-range of tools designed to improve productivity and efficiency, and streamline the way you use Flood Modeller across your projects. Other features include an extensive range of structures, such weirs, sluices, orifices and bridges, and hydrological and tidal boundaries, which provide inflow data for your models.
Users also have the ability to view existing models of up to 400 nodes in size and run two concurrent simulations of the software, allowing you accelerate your modelling.
The Standard edition can be applied to various projects, such as modelling simple backwater profiles or larger catchments, mapping potential flood risk for an urban environment or forecasting potential flood risk.
Once users have upgraded to the Standard edition, they can seamlessly upgrade to the Professional edition as and when required by simply paying the difference – no additional premium or uplift is charged.
