Find a package suitable for you!

Whether you’re an independent consultant, work for a global organisation with thousands of employees or are currently studying at university, we have a solution for you!

With two editions of Flood Modeller to choose from, and multiple licensing options, you can select the most appropriate and cost-effective solution for your organisation. You can also enhance your modelling experience as and when required with our range of add-ons.

The Standard edition is perfect for everyday projects where you’re undertaking smaller studies. It’s also very useful when you’re reviewing an existing model or need to generate hydrographs, but not necessarily run the model. Coupled with the unlimited viewer, it provides a powerful analysis tool.

The Professional edition is best for large and complex projects and can be further enhanced to model catchments of any size. It enables you to run four concurrent simulations as standard, providing results fast. Unlocking the 1D urban solver allows you to combine surface and subsurface flow to obtain a detailed and integrated understanding of flood risk in urban areas.

Both editions of Flood Modeller are available as long-term licences. This allows you to pay a one-off fee and have unlimited access to the software for 25 years. The only recurring, but optional, cost is annual support and maintenance.

We also offer short-term rentals, which are ideal for occasional projects, as well as annual rentals which are more cost effective when you require the software for 6 consecutive months or more. Rentals include support and maintenance as standard, providing access to a dedicated team of experts who are on hand to give you the support and guidance you need.

Existing users of Flood Modeller can also rent add-ons to temporarily increase their capabilities as and when required.

Licensing options – which one do I need?

All of our licensing options allow you to use Flood Modeller across different computers and multiple offices, regions or countries.

Standalone licences are ideal for users who work independently or as part of a smaller group within a single office. The software is run from a USB dongle and will allow users to run the software on a single machine at any one time.

Network licences are perfect for users that are based in different offices, or have started to work from home, as it provides instant access to Flood Modeller from anywhere in the world. It allows organisations to utilise the software more effectively, reducing the need to purchase additional licences.

Network licences provide various other benefits, such as using cloud-based virtual machines to run the software, access multiple licences for compute intensive projects and removing the risk of losing or breaking your licence. It also reduces licence administration and provides a ‘mix-and-match’ approach to licensing different features.
