Taking place on Wednesday 13th May 2020 at 12:00 BST this free webinar will be delivered by Jacobs’ Adam Parkes. It is particularly useful for anyone involved with urban modelling and natural flood management. The webinar will cover:

  • The uses of direct rainfall modelling
  • Discussion on alternatives, benefits and limitations
  • The practicalities of setting up direct rainfall models
  • Applying spatially varying infiltration boundaries within Flood Modeller.

Direct rain on grid modelling is an important element of Flood Modeller’s 2D solvers, allowing users to model a wide range of complex processes directly within Flood Modeller.  Potential uses include pluvial flood risk assessment, modelling of natural flood management processes and urban drainage system evaluation.
