We are very pleased to announce that the programme preview for this year's Flood Modeller Conference is now available.

The Flood Modeller Conference 2019 will take place on Thursday 3rd October 2019 at the Geological Society, London.

As one of the industry's premier flood modelling events, this year's conference is an excellent opportunity for new and existing users of Flood Modeller to find out more about the software and to network with others in the industry, meet the Flood Modeller team and help direct the future development of the software.

The line up includes a keynote on 'New projections of sea level rise from UKCP18 and FCERM project SC150009' delivered by Stuart Allen, Principal Research Scientist in the Climate Change and Resource Efficiency Research team at the Environment Agency.

It will include talks on flood forecasting, flood mapping and flood risk management using Flood Modeller 1D and 2D as well as Flood Cloud.

Presenting organisations include: the Environment Agency, Capita, JBA Consulting, the SNCF, Arcadis, the Irish Office of Public Works and Jacobs.

The Flood Modeller team will also provide an update about the software as well as technical talks.

The programme preview can be downloaded here.

A pre-conference training workshop will be delivered the previous day, Wednesday 2nd October, in London.

This one-day Advanced Flood Modeller training course is aimed at those involved in the development and review of hydraulic models and focuses primarily on model diagnostics and debugging, advanced 1D structures and Flood Modeller automation tools.
