Prior to the Flood Modeller 2018 conference, Jacobs will be delivering a one-day Advanced Flood Modeller training course in Hammersmith, London (UK) on 3rd October 2018.

The training course is aimed at those involved in the development and review of hydraulic models and focuses primarily on model diagnostics and debugging, advanced 1D structures and Flood Modeller automation tools.

Anybody wishing to attend the Advanced Flood Modeller training course (£300+VAT), will receive a free ticket (worth up to £200+VAT) to the Flood Modeller 2018 conference the following day, which is taking place at the Geological Society in London.

By the end of the course, attendees should have an understanding of a number of initialisation and runtime errors that occur using Flood Modeller and how to fix these. Attendees should be able to use a number of model review tools available within Flood Modeller's interface to help identify problematic areas of their model and how these can be improved upon.

Attendees will gain experience in using Flood Modeller's automation tools and they will also be taught about our recent Damage Calculator addition. Alongside this, the course will also provide a detailed insight into 1D structures, including bridges and culverts.
