Due to unforeseen circumstances, this webinar has had to be postponed until a later date.

This webinar will describe the challenging modelling work in relation to the low flows on Maidenhead Ditch, Berkshire. The modelling considered; interactions with the River Thames and Thames lock operations, groundwater interaction and ground water abstraction, macro-invertebrate habitat assessment, extreme annual vegetation cycling, historic and future maintenance regimes and in-progress river engineering works. This all took place within a fluvial system that has been subject to considerable morphological change through the project lifetime, from heavy sedimentation and sporadic dredging.

Join Paul Roberts, Senior Modeller at Jacobs, at our upcoming webinar on Tuesday 8th May at 12:30 BST. Jacobs was commissioned by South East Water (SEW) to undertake an investigation of the cause of low flows in the Maidenhead Ditch, under the National Environment Programme (NEP), Restoring Sustainable Abstraction (RSA) programme.

Please note that our webinars are extremely popular and limited spaces are available.
