Flood Modeller are delighted to be supporting the work of the Centre for Flood Risk and Resilience at Brunel University.

The Centre’s ambition is to develop learning that delivers resilience awareness, understanding and partnership working across the professional (private and public) sector and civil society with clear indicators for increasing flood safety measures and capability. The Centre is being established through Catalyst funding from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).

Working with partners – the Environment Agency, HR Wallingford, Jacobs (including Flood Modeller) and CIWEM - Brunel University London is creating the Centre for Flood Risk and Resilience which aims to generate skills and knowledge in key stakeholders of flood risk and resilience, and thereby support the UK Government's Industrial Strategy.

Gauging the needs of the flood community is a key task for the Centre. Please complete their survey to help identify the areas of most need, and to enable them to prioritise the first of their CIWEM-accredited courses.
