Join Dr. Konrad Adams, Senior Developer for Flood Modeller, at our upcoming webinar on Thursday 1st March at 12:00 (GMT) where he will provide an overview of modelling hydraulic structures when using Flood Modeller.

The webinar is specifically aimed at engineering and environmental professionals who use Flood Modeller to undertake flood management studies, but wish to improve their understanding of incorporating hydraulic structures.

The webinar will include:

  • The use of Flood Modeller 1D to represent features in the floodplain
  • A comparison of different types of structure
  • Modelling bypasses at high flows
  • Recent enhancements (circular weir/orifice, piping breach)

Konrad has a PhD in mathematical methods. He has been at Jacobs (previously CH2M) for the last 20 years, where he has worked primarily as a software developer for both the Flood Modeller computational engine and the graphical user interface as well as providing specialist technical support. He is the lead software developer for the 1D and 2D solvers within Flood Modeller.
