The urbanisation parameters used within the ReFH2 software (IRF, IF etc) should be available for use within a ReFH2 boundary unit. The generated report states values used for these parameters, however, due to the lack of available functionality, they are only ever set as default values.

The unavailability of these parameters means that it is not possible to recreate peak flow values formulated within ReFH2 in a ReFH2 boundary unit, unless a QT boundary with ReFH2 exports is used instead. This is less than ideal, and takes away one of the advantages of using ReFH2.

It should also be possible to alter hydrograph parameters (Cmax, BL, BR etc), as in ReFH1 boundary units, as they can be fitted to observed data in the ReFH2 calibration utility tool, providing a more robust hydrograph shape than relying on catchment descriptors alone.

I agree with your requests, however currently we are unable to add further parameter adjustments due to the nature of the linkage with the ReFH2 software. The implementation of the ReFH2 unit in Flood Modeller is made possible by an API developed by Wallingford Hydrosolutions (WHS). This provides the capability to link to the ReFH2 software, adjust parameters and run simulations. However, the API only allows for a subset of the overall ReFH2 parameter set to be adjusted. The ReFH2 unit in Flood Modeller allows the user to adjust all possible parameters that the API permits.
