When I run a 1D steady simulation, the program show this error, in almost all my cross sections. I need help with the solution, please anyone who can help me!

I give an example of one of my cross sections.

PS. (The section have more points up and down, but I don't include them,  because it would be too large)

  1. Note that this a warning/advisory as opposed to an error - the model will still run beyond this.
  2. It will go away if you add a Panel marker (the check box in the middle) when your Manning's n values change, i.e. same line as your Left bank marker; one below the Right bank marker.

This splits the section up into three vertical panels, where the conveyance is calculated separately for each, and then summed to give a total section conveyance. Primarily this is to stop a kink, and hence potential instabiliities, in the conveyance-stage relationship when the water goes out of bank (when the section slope changes from being nearly vertical to nearly horizontal), and therefore usually coincident with a change in roughness value.

The Help page quotes:

"different values ( /- 20 %) for Mannings n encountered within one panel

Differing values of Manning's n (of over 20%) have been entered within the same panel. You are normally advised to insert panel markers when the Manning's value changes. Note that panel markers may not appear within bridge arches."
